MASS Production is providing an alternative workflow which emphasizes hand-on 2d sketches and quick 3d massing feedback from 3d software. We're transforming iPad into a 3D sketchbook that allows users sketch like normal and press some buttons to input height and program information, then the 3D model will be generated automatically. This project is trying to do quick iteration on massing during early stage of urban design. Basic analysis like figure and ground, serial sections and sunlight analysis are also generated automatically.
