Reshape the past

The Palazzo Madama is overlayed by buildings built in three periods. And during its existence, with the evolution of its function from military castle to musuem, it has witnessed plenty of history events and buildings.

1100 grids are used to reappear the events and buildings here to remind people of the history that palazzo madama witness. With the space made by these grids, modern events take place here to make up for all needs that a modern musuem requires.

The whole structures are constructed by turns to reappear different events and to be used in many way. The grids flow around the palazzo madama and make up different structures. The structures themselves are just like an all year round exhibition.
